Photographer’s Note

Yesterday I returned home from my wonderful trip through out Moravia and South Bohemia. And must say honestly - I'm very tired :) I had made very tight schedule for places to visit, without any resting.

It was only one week and I haven't seen several towns from my carefully prepered (with a little help from my dear friend MarekP) list.

But I have seen quite a lot. I was astonished by the excellent roads, even small byways. I was amazed by the beauty of nature, especially by the landscapes of vineyards and fields of sunflowers. I was enchanted by the beauty of architecture and by the mood of charming towns...

Now, I would like to share some of my hot memories with You. Serie called "Across the border". Let's begin...

This is a view from the village Klentnice, in Moravia region, 4 km from Mikulov. This area is full of vineyards and sunflowers... and has almost mediterranean climat. As I experienced, it is the warmest site in Czech. At the end of that day it was still 30 centigrades.

Over the horizon on the left You can see the monuments of the Holy Hill, which hovers over Mikulov.
