Photographer’s Note
As I said, I've run out of recent shots, so here's an old one. Taken before the abandoned cark park project in the cnetre of town had been tidied up. An excuse to use my favourite Czech word for a title, not because I like the stuff, but becasue of the first 5 letters.

What does it mean ?!
The composition is very pleasant. There are many details. The contrast of colours makes the shot look 'old'.
The town seems really beautiful =^D

zmrzlina, or in polish "lody" is something exceptionally tasteful; so nice of you to show us this scene;
as for the word "zmrzlina" even for us, poles, speaking the most difficult european language as they say, it is quite tough to pronounce it; but me too - i like it a lot:-))

Hi Richard,
This is a nice daily life scenery. Good sharpness and colours. Marianske lazne is definitely the most beautiful Czech town (and place of my childhood ;-) and I'll be happy if you post more photos from there.
By the way, pronountiation of "zmrzlina" is quite simple -- every 3-years old child can tell it without any problems ;-)
Thanks,
Marek

Hi Richard, a very nice compo and funny note, going to Prague in Juley I will surely eat some zmrzlina there, but i am afraid I will ask for ice cream ... or scream for ice cream :-)

You have found a rather surrealistic view, Richard,Thenold town ,looking like disneyland in the background and the unreal looking kiosque; even the popel look like manaquines and the ice cream cones pictured on the stand look so threathenin, almost like weapons.It's abeauftifully executed and facinating picture. regards Kevin

Hi Richard - now that they're in the EU, why not export (duty-free) some vowels from Finland and Estonia to the Czech republic and Poland?? It would be mutually relaxing to so many vocal chords. That said, very nice street scene, I like the bright colours on the façades.
