Photographer’s Note

Trebic is an old town in Southern Moravia with a couple of unique architectural objects. This photo (unfortunately taken under bad light conditions) shows two of them:

1. St. Procopus Basilica - one of the most prominent Romanesque-Gothic buildings in Europe, built in years 1240-1260.

2. Zamosti - the best-preserved historical Jewish quarter in Central Europe, nicely situated along the Jihlava River.

Both these objects were placed on the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage List on 3rd July 2003 and I'll introduce them in detail in the next photos.
