The first mention of the castle dates back Frydstejn 1385. In 1540 he bought the castle from Jan Wartenberg and connect to the massive vartemberskému estate. Adam of Wartenberg lost in 1547, some goods, including Frýdštejn for rebellion against King Ferdinand I. in 1591, the castle was uninhabitable. In 1623, the castle was Albrecht von Wallenstein After his death, the church acquired the estate, which it held until 1838. The castle is open from 1892. The dominant feature of the castle is preserved 15 m high tower on a sandstone rock.

Hi Tomas, Nice detail note comes with this castle. The people give scale to the huge tower. Well managed light gives clarity. The trees framed the castle perfectly and the blue sky delivers great colour contrasts. Best regards

Fantastic subject, really well captured Tomas.The people dressed in red add to the interest. The only thing I would have done differently would be to include a little more of the foreground.
