Prague [Praha], the capital of the Czech Republic, is a very popular destination among tourists. Especially the Old Town [Staré Město], where the narrow streets lined with beautiful houses and the many restaurants, usually are filled with people.
The Old Town Square [Staroměstské náměstí] with the Old Town City Hall and it's medieval astronomical clock (Prague Orloj), where a clockwork hourly show of figures of the Apostles, gather huge crowds.
But the City Hall is also a popular wedding place among the Prague citizens themselves. And the bridal couples have to be brought to and from the City Hall, which might be a hazardous operation among the flock of unknowing tourists.
Someone has to be in charge. And this was the man to do the job. It was hard to decide if he was officially assigned or had chosen this as a task of his own. Equipped with a stick in one hand and a whistle in the other he shoved tourist aside while shouting loudly in Czech.
He was truly the M.C. of Prague!
