Photographer’s Note
These riverside houses in the preserved medieval town of Cesky Krumlov were badly damaged in the flooding of the Vltava in 2002, but have been restored most impressively. This town really is the most delectable I have visited throughout Europe and is accordingly swarming with tourists in Summer, but there is always a quiet nook where you can hide away and revel in its charm.
