Lednice, a photo from Jihomoravsky, Moravia

On my Croatia trip I haven't seen many places and I have not much photos, much less than usually :). At first it seemed to me boring to stay at the beach but than I enjoyed it very much. Swimming in the emerald or turqoise warm water with the views of beautiful coast was just fabulous. Not without difficulties I convinced my husband to stay in Mikulov on our way home, it was just in the middle of our way (600 km of Crikvenica and 600 from home).
On the map I saw that there is Unesco Heritage Site very near, I was surprised as i haven't heard about it before. Yesterday I posted the view of Valtice, here the castle of Lednice. In the early morning light it looked like from fairy tale book.

The Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape is a cultural-natural complex close to Břeclav and Mikulov.The Lednice-Valtice Area is registered in the list of monuments protected as World Heritage by UNESCO next to another site - Pálava Landscape Protected Area. Such close vinicity of two landscape systems protected by UNESCO is world-unique.
The Garden of Europe spreads in the warmest place of the Czech Republic area. This part of land is full of architectural jewels, romantic nooks, unique nature reserves.
The Garden of Europe means not only famous Neo-Gothic Chateau Lednice with an extensive park, protected as World Heritage by UNESCO, but also colourful folklore, the Viticultural Educational Route, hospitable people, and countless curtural events.

The colours may seem oversaturated but they were just like this. I even desaturated them.

Excellent presentation of this superb architectur. Ideal framing and POV. I like the beautiful chromatic contrast between the superb yellow of the edifice nad the tender blue of the sky.

You've created a spledid atmosphere by saturating the colors a little bit more. Also the contrasts are great and shows even better the details of that beautiful architecture.

A fine capture of this lovely building seen under the morning sunlight. The point of view is well chosen with the path drawing us towards the main entrance. Very pleasing colour contrasts and excellent detail. Well worth stopping off to visit.

This is a great shot of this beautiful building. The walkway leads the eye into the shot perfectly. You handled the harsh lighting nicely bringing out excellent color and detail. The photo has fine sharpness and is well framed by the trees.

Hello Malgorzata,

The architecture of this building is very nice and the light too. So you managed to take a beautiful picture.
Be careful: you should have some dust on your sensor because there is a dark spot on the right side of the picture (in the sky).

Hi Malgorzata,
in this good composition you have combined skillfully the beauty of the architecture of this castle, and a few warm very attractive colors, due to the low light of the Sun early in the morning.
I like the strong chromatic level and the contrast of the image, as well as the balance of light and of shades.
The result is a great photo, very attractive at sight.

The light created a wonderful orange/yello on the edifice, with excelent contrast in image to blue sky aloft, Malgo.
Gothic archi. collected as in a fine-art painting...

Hello Malgorzata,
One thing with TE is that with ambitious members like you I get to learn of so many splendid places that I never heard of, even world heritage sites. The richness of European culture is so amazing, and its reassuring that there are places left in central Europe that Swedish troops didn't destroy 300 years ago. As you say, the morning light makes this place truly spectacular.
It's also interesting to learn that you found relaxing equally pleasant as taking pictures all the time.

Dear Malgo!
You are, in my opinion, the foremost visitors to UNESCO heritage sites, both here & in FP. Its a learning experience to see such places, unknown in my limited knowledge & savour the beauty

The Chateau Lednice which also embodies a church is beautiful & the warm colour basking in sunlight stands out strongly against the blue sky. A fine note as well providing good information!
