Today, I did a break in the publication of my latest photos. I remember with this picture, the weekend so cold that I spent in Prague

I hope you enjoy it !

Old Town Square (Czech: Staroměstské náměstí)is a historic square in the Old Town quarter of Prague in the Czech Republic.

Located between Wenceslas Square and the Charles Bridge, Prague's Old Town Square is often bursting at the seams with tourists in the summer. Featuring various architectural styles including the gothic Týn Cathedral and baroque St. Nicholas Church, the square is an oasis for travelers wearied by Prague's narrow streets. Among many churches, tourists may find the Astronomical Clock on this square, while the tower at the Old Town Hall offers a panoramic view of Old Town.

The square's center is home to a statue of religious reformer Jan Hus, who was burned at the stake for his beliefs. The statue known as the Jan Hus Memorial was erected on July 6, 1915 to mark the 500th anniversary of his death.

Not only a popular meeting place, Old Town Square sees its share of celebrations (New Year's), holiday markets (Christmas and Easter), and protests. On occasion, hockey and football (soccer) games are shown on huge screens, drawing large crowds of fans.

Ciao Aires,
la composizione è molto bella da tutti i punti di vista.
Le due ragazze con i trolley, movimentano la scena e danno anche dinamicità.
Manca soltanto un bel cielo blu, come spesso vediamo nelle tue foto.
Il contrasto cromatico con i tetti rossi, sarebbe stato fantastico.

Olá Aires

O frio aí não está para brincadeira, não é? As pessoas chegando ou partindo deram um ar turístico à cena. Aquela igreja altíssima lá atrás , como sempre acontece nessas imagens, deu uma maior beleza à arquitetura antiga. Parabéns.

ti auguro un buon lavoro allora...
Immagine di una Praga invernale molto ben ripresa e composta, il POV è ottimo e le tende rosse risaltano incredibilmente sulla bella architettura.

A very nice large view of this famous place. Composition well balalnced and image rich in details and colors very well collected. Great depht too.

Hi Aires, it really look rather cold. It seems there is a holiday market there and we cannot see the Hus Monument. Beautiful building on teh left of the church. Pity the sky rather gloomy.

An excellent presentation of the square of Prague.
A beautiful architecture of this cathedral, good framing and excellent sharpness. Colors and natural light.

Une ville riche en architecture, je connaît cette place mais il y a longtemps que j'y suis allée...j'aimerai un jour y retourner mais une saison plus chaude que ici ou le froid est bien présent voila le pourquoi de la place un peu désertique
