Photographer’s Note
Sorry for the mess in the foreground, but this was the only one place I found with the full view of the castle in Nove Mesto upon Metui, and the silhouette of this castle was for me worth a picture.
Obviously one could clone out these distracting structures (at least I think so, I am not that good in PS, so workshops are more than welcome).
However I think that ages ago castles might look out even worse than this - surrounded by mean houses of ordinary people.

The castle is beautiful and the excellent sharpness allows us to spot many interesting details. Why is there such a mess in the front?

Well, the "mess" is just mildly distracting, but other than that it's a very nice postcard-format view of this fine old castle, Marek. Interesting pattern made by all the towers and spires, and it looks like the white windows and fences have undergone a recent paintjob as they look quite shiny. Good result on the colors and contrast. I think trying to start cloning activities on the foreground would amount to a massive job - let's just live with it as it is, it's still very nice :-)

Its true that the foreground is a penalty to your composition ,and as you say, no choice. The castel by itself in the composition is interesting. And this is ood DOF to share it.

Hi Marek, I find this castle superb from this angle and despite the apparently dull weather the light is great on all the buildings, I try out a small WS to get rid of the mess.
