Photographer’s Note
The upper section of the "Large Arcade" of the square of Telč, a UNESCO town in the Highlands.
Most of the houses in the square have these arcades (porticos), which most likely were the idea of the Italian architects brought in around 1550 to rebuild the castle. These architects were subsequently hired by the local burghers to work on their houses, too. The arcades provide wonderful shelter from the elements and a nice place to sit in small cafes.
If you wonder whether there is also a "Small Arcade", yes, it is on the opposite side of the square. "Small" refers to its lenght, as it is shorter or, in fact, cut in two by a street that leads onto the square.

Hello Dagmar,
Very beautiful blue hour picture showing the magnificent architecture of Telč very well.
The soft colours of the splendid façades make a great contrast with the sky.
Best regards, Paul

This is a beautiful image taken in the evening while the sky is still blue.(blue hour) The exposure has been well handled and we can see plenty of detail in the attractive architecture. The perspective provides an excellent diagonal to lead the eye through the scene. The repetition of the arches is also a good feature. well done

Hi Dasha
I'm used to see the beautiful facades of Telc during daytime, it's nice to see them at the blue hour for a change, nice perspective and it looks much quieter at night to take pictures.
Have a nice day JY

Hi, Dagmar. The beautiful façades stand out well against the blue hour sky and make a nice diagonal line in the image. I like the inclusion of the white benches, which somehow give the scale of the picture and add contrast and depth.
Have a nice evening,
Philippe

Hi Dagmar,
Wonderful image with perfect light managment, excellent framing and composition. You chose just the right time with the blue sky, which making for a much more interesting background than a black one. Well done!
Thanks for sharing,

Hi Dasha, I love Blue Hour shots and this one is exceptionally good. I've used it as part of my Blue Hour Theme, hope you don;t mind. I like the square framing, the composition with the seats to the right of the frame and of course those lovely arches. Great shot, it's a pleasure to view, Lisa.
