Photographer's Note
Kromieriz city was founded as a trading settlement located at the crossroads of trade routes. During the colonization of the church in the early twelfth century it became property of the bishops of Olomouc. In the second half of the twelfth century Kromieriz received municipal rights, but the vast desolation of the city made in the fourteenth century religious wars. After 1848, when it was in this city held a legislative parliament was the imperial period of development, through which the city reached the highest level of spiritual and artistic culture. Kromieriz is extremely interesting not only because of its history and architecture, but also on the surrounding nature, which can offer a whole range of attractions. Every year the town is the venue for various music festivals, exhibitions, conferences and congresses. The palace and gardens in Kromieriz were entered in 1998 by UNESCO.

Hello Josef,
A very beautiful place with colorful facades. I like the fountain in the foreground with the cyclist standing perhaps for the camera. Place looks to be quiet. Lovely architecture with nice colors and sharpness.

Hello Jozef,
Wonderful square with the fountain on the foreground and the magnificent architecture in beautiful pastel colours.
The cross on the church towers just falls outside the frame.
Best regards, Paul
