Photographer’s Note

Participants of the regular rallye of the vintage Skoda MB cars (actually, it is about two-door Skoda MBX cars, but many participants came with classical MB version) arrived to popular city Telc. Because of the portals of the houses on the main square Telc is on the list of Unesco world heritage.

Love it, a good combination of nice oldies, beautiful architecture ans stormy light conditions to draatize the scene a bit, all with perspective, a very nice tribute to the Skodas that I'll gadly add to my theme !

Beautiful colorfull picture.
Very sharp. I always like this kind of black skies.
They increase contrast and make color brighter.

I like strong color of cars which contrast very good from bright buildings in background. Very well framed.

Impressive line of cars. Strong reds, beautiful architecture and dark sky make an excellent combination.
Strong sharpening brings out noise.

Very good use of perspective to carry our eye down the street past all the cars. The closer ones in bright red really catch the eye. Your scan has come out well and the noise is not too bad.

Tons of warm memories.
Skoda was (and still is) the best car ever produced (designed) by former communist countries.
A miles ahead of those dreadful Trabants, Syrenas, Warszawas, pobiedas and the whole list of the worst crap possible.
Only Skoda had the worlds standarts (even though the commies tried to screw this up as much as possible).

Hello Jiri! Oh brilliant composition. The cars are angled perfectly and also parallel the architecture perfectly. The detail in the cobblestones is well seen. And of course the colors are absolutely stunning. A+++

Hi Jiri,

The old Skoda, i remember well, from the 70s when it also drove here. these days the modern version doesn't look at all comparing to these old models, but seeing them back in your picture brings back some memories to the old 70s, also in combination with the old architecture which you show here. I like the almost square format, brings a tight but very nice composition in sight....very nice work.
