Photographer’s Note

Zamosti -- Trebic's Jewish quarter listed in UNESCO World Heritage List -- lays in a narrow strip along the Jihlava River. It consists of 123 houses (including two synagogues) built along the river bank and two long streets running parallel with the river. These long streets are connected with 14 lateral lanes like that one.

This photo shows one of the long streets. I took it from the same place as yesterday's picture, just turned my camera 90 degrees to the left. Weather was quite bad and atmosphere of this photo is rather depressive.
