600th & Old town of Telc Photo

Photographer’s Note

For my 600th upload I choose the beautiful Old town of Telc. I remember that I was thinking about to rest on this white bench instead to take a picture. I do both.

Telc is a town in Southern Moravia and one of the main tourist attractions of the Czech Republic. It was founded in the 14th century. The town is built on a little hill encircled by three fishponds. The beautiful porticated Gothic and Renaissance houses on the square are conformed on a standard plan and have nice Baroque or Rococo or classical façades, reconstructed also after a fire in the 19th century, decorated or painted, and all of almost the same height; they were damaged by a war in 1359 and were wooden until a fire in 1386, when were reconstructed in stone, and then in Renaissance style after a second fire.

it is a good one to celebrate with - colourful but subdued at the same time. You've arranged it well with the fading line of buildings.

Was für eine Parade an wunderschönen verschiedenen Giebeln! Dieser Straßenzug ist ja wirklich ein Kleinod und wert, hier gezeigt zu werden. Der Blickwinkel könnte besser nicht sein.

The presence of the people has an effect of scale. The diagonal line of the street is an asset to the composition. The point of view is allowing us to see the details and colors of the architecture of the buildings. The nice sky is sending a light which has a good effect on the colors. have a nice day.

Congratulations for reaching #600. I am fairly certain that you have the most countries represented in your gallery than any other member, so with so many countries to choose from it's interesting to see the location of your celebratory post. The architecture is beautiful and so colourful. The diagonal from the perspective works well in your composition, and it leaves a triangle of blue sky adorned with pretty clouds. This is a nice shot taken from a great POV. The angle of the shot works well using the facades of the building to lead the eye through the scene. The people add a nice sense of scale for the shot. The lighting and colors are fine as is the photo's sharpness.

Quite a nice bench to sit and rest!
After 600 photos posted you must be really tired, so you choose the right bench to have a rest! (:-)
This sequence of beautiful and colourful facades is really a fine milestone for your partecipation in TE: my best compliments for both the anniversary and the picture.
Beside the interest and beauty of the architecture I like the vast sense of perspective and depth and the wonderful contrast with the deep blue sky. And of course that bench it's an invitation for all of us!

Zum Jubileum hast Du ein besonders schönes Thema gewählt. Die barocken Fassaden sind wirklich sehr schön, man sieht an den Arkaden, dass sie ursprünglich im Renaissancestil erbaut wurden. Und das alles auf einem makellosen Foto!

Für dein Bild hast du eine sehr gute Perspektive gewählt. Die diagonal verlaufenden Linien vom Pflaster bilden eine tolle Parallele zu der bunten Hauserreihe. Die Architektur ist scharf und detailiert abgelichtet und die Farben sind kräftig, aber natürlich. Kurz um, ein klasse Bild bei dem einfach alles stimmt. Weiter so!
