Photographer's Note

Craig posted some views from the Polish and Czech towers, I also climb most of the towers to see the views and then shiver, like John I have vertigo. Here I was on the tower of the castle in Telc.
Like Cesky Krumlov, Telc is on the Unesco Heritage List. It is smaller town, nicely situated between the lakes, but the most interesting is the very long town square with the castle on one side.
Wiki: The town was founded in 13th century as a royal water fort on the crossroads of busy merchant routes between Bohemia, Moravia and Austria.
Besides the monumental 17th century Renaissance chateau with an English-style park (a rebuilding of original Gothic castle), the most significant sight is the town square, a unique complex of long urban plaza with well-conserved Renaissance and Baroque houses with high gables and arcades.
