Photographer’s Note
The photograph was taken from the old city walls surrounding the centre of Olomouc and shows one of the buildings of the Palacky University. It is named after František Palacký, one of the most important propounders of the Czech National Revival in the 19th century. The first university in Olomouc was established in 1573 and was run by the Jesuit Order. This university was closed in 1860 and the current school was re-established in 1946. After the Charles University in Prague it is the second oldest University in the Czech Republic.

Interesting to see this picture. I have friends who work in Palacky University, but they only show me pictures of the beautiful city.
Your photo has good sharpness, and nice contrast of colours. The soft sky with clouds and greyness is good.
Thanks, and best wishes,
Winifred
