Photographer’s Note
Perhaps a rather atypical view of the historic centre of Olomouc; the picture was taken from the scaffolding set up around the church of St. Michael.
On the left, you can see the Town Hall tower. The Town Hall was built originally as two Gothic buildings. It was completed in 1443. The further construction in the 15th century was done in late Gothic style. Then, it has undergone a reconstruction in Renaissance style in the 17th century.
On the right, you can observe fine Gothic church built from the beginning of the 15th century till the middle of the 16th century with baroque style interior.
The largest pipe organ in Central Europe was installed, inside, in 1745.
Cheers :-)
