Photographer’s Note
The housing estate built in the suburb of Poruba in Ostrava was about the last quality housing project built to high standards in the post war communist period in Czechslovakia. The arpartmetns are large and attractive, and (rather than being transferred to their occupants following the 1989 revolution, still remain with mining corporation that owned them. Recipe for many a legal wrangle.

Hello Richard,
A typical oriental built construction, small windows, a few decoration, but big for all the inhabitants.
Also for everyone the same appartment, you took on a very nice moment during the passage of the tram, this gives more animation to the picture.
Composition and colours are very well.
Best regards,
John.

Hi Richard,
Nice light and interesting note! I've been to Ostrava myself, having some friends in nearby Trinec. Brings back some memories!
Cheers, Léonie

Nice shot, with the light on the building while the background is much darker. The golden light also brings a nice quality to building, really making it seem like a paradise. Well done!
