Believe it or not, I have relatives who live in and near Ostrava. My mother's cousin lived there until her death, near the centre of the city, and her son lives in Havířov. I have been there many times in the last 37 years. Your photo reminds me that Ostrava is entering a post-industrial, post-coal era. I can remember how polluted it was when I first visited in 1974. It did not seem to change until after the velvet revolution. My cousin retired early after a working life spent in the coal mines, at the time when they began to close them. The brown, rusty look of this big oil container shows that it has been derelict for years. I like the nice combination of brown and blue tones, and the light and shadow on the walls.
Regards and best wishes,

A great subject well photographed. The colours are very interesting. You have created an original image.
