Photographer’s Note

The photograph shows the mingle of roofs as viewed from the townhall tower in the centre of Znojmo. The houses come from various centuries, were built in many different styles and some of them underwent later reconstructions. The result is this bizzare, chaotic but beautiful view.

I like your abstract view of the rooftops, Marketa. The colour is good and my interest was held as my eyes jumped from rooftop to rooftop and from window to window. A tighter crop might have avoided the dark empty space at the top right. None the less, job well done.

I like your photographs because of you out of the box compositions. The picture is precisely like in the description: bizzare, chaotic, but beautiful. I can even spot a city wall (am I right?)
colors are fresh and vivid (that's why roofs are interesting object for photographs), walls are pretty white, and they both create interesting contrast.
