Photographer’s Note
Mikulov is a small town, plenty of charm, located near the Czech - Austrian border, on the road between Brno and Vienna. It is rich in historical sites, like the enormous castle or the chapel standing on top of the Svety Kopecek hill above town. Mikulov offers some fine vineyards as well, and there are many options for active tourists - you can hike the nearby Palava protected area.
