Photographer’s Note

Brno, this lovely historical Czech town gave to humanity Gregor Mendel, the father of Genetics. Now many of its proud buildings are falling apart. I hope the European authorities will recognise the immense contibution of Brno to universal scientific culture and this market place will see busy activity again.

I love the mood in this shot, the very strong orange and the dark shades. I think it would be more interesting with a passerby and maybe a closer crop from the top but you have something good there. Thanks for sharing.

The strong shades are fine, but this heavy blach stains are too much for me. I miss detail. It looks artactive as a thumbnail, but it doesn´t show much more when I open the big picture. On the other hand, the composition is nice (just it is doesn´t keep the vertical direction straight).
