Photographer's Note
The city of Brno may not get alot of attention in the Czech Republic, but I certainly enjoyed my 2 days there.
The architecture is a strange but beautiful mixture.
Here in this shot, I used my extreme wide angle lens as I stood very close to this water fountain. The 6 sec exposure gave some funky dynamics to the water.
I'll put a couple more photos in the WS too.
Hope you enjoy it!
Cheers

Hello Craig,
good POV and use of wide lense. The water in the fountain has lovely emerald shade and creates a lot of interest in the foreground. The buildings are really strane but also quite intersting. Perfect sharpness.

Hello Craig,
I like this wide angled perspective with the glassy foreground offered by the fountain making an interesting pointer toward the eclectic set of architecture forming the backdrop. The warm lights of the shop windows contrast nicely with the pastel coloured façades opposite. Well exposed with good colours and sharpness.

Hi Craig,
I like this kind of POV. I also tried it in Rome. Good colors and a lazy mood, fine catch.
Have a good week.

Craig

Hi Craig,
What a wonderful trio of photographs you have given us - each quite different but each on a masterpiece in its own right.
I'm wondering how you managed to use such a long exposure time with this one - was it taken in very low light or did you use one of those fancy 10 stop ND filters? Whatever you did, the result is magic - well, "funky", I suppose, but magic too!
The light in all the pictures is beautifully soft, the colours natural and the details and sharpness exquisite.
Fantastic!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hi Craig, The water with low shutter speed looks very nice (when I learn to make such photos??), also interesting are the sculpture behind fountain, but I do not like this white and red fence. Bur what can be done..
We are covered with snow, i have a lot of shoveling but I am rather lazy.. Also quite cold in Warsaw, minus 9 degrees.
War :) regards Malgo

Hello Craig
Very intriguing POV and superb use of a wide angle lens. That water looks almost like some kind of colored ice due to the longer exposure. More so as the color of the water reflects the color of the modern glass building behind the fountain.
Those sculptures scattered around the fountain look somehow like made out of wet sand? Could that be?
have a great day
Daniel

Hello Craig
The effect on the water is quite well achieved with the dream like effect in the turquoise water. The effect of the wide lens is good with the framing done with the houses. The pano format looks good for this scene. The V shaped perspective with the converging at the middle of the frame works well for me....
Cheers

Hello Craig,
I like very much this composition and the way you have given great dynamism to the elegant urban scenery while keeping a very calm, almost neutral, foreground and evening atmosphere. The contrast between these is fascinating. The interaction between vivid and subdued colours, the warm artificial lights and the moody evening ambience, is mesmerizing. Sharpness and depth are superb and the convergence of the two rows of buildings a little off centre is a marvellous trait of your composition. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,
Ourania
