Photographer’s Note
When speaking about Kutna Hora, most foreigners recall the famous ossuary that made the town the third most visited one in the Czech Republic after Prague and Cesky Krumlov. However, the ossuary is actually nothing more than bizarre rarity. The real value of Kutna Hora is in its medieval architecture and particularly in this church -- St Barabara Cathedral, the most beautiful Czech church in the Gothic style and definitely the most photogenic one.
Building of the cathedral started in 1381 and was left uncompleted in 1512. Three famous architects designed it -- Jan Parler, the son of Petr Parler who designed St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague Castle, Matyas Rejsek, the author of the Powder Tower in Prague, and Benedikt Reid, who designed the Vladislav's Hall in Prague Castle.
Current look is a result of completing the cathedral in Neo-gothic style by Josef Mocker in the beginning of the 20th century.

Hello Mareak,
Very good composition of this beautiful façade nicely framed by the trees. The cross lighting brings out the best in the architectural details. The interesting clouds set off the building to good effect.

Marek,
Excellent photo with nice deep colors. The lighting is fine with nice sharpness and DOF. Your composition is fine framing the church with the trees. I wish you could have moved a little to one side so we could see the depth of the church rather than just the front facade (just my taste).

Asa

Serwus Marek !
Wonderful light for this grand architecture, the cathedral is really glowing in it. It's such a surprising location for a church, as it looks like hidden somewhere in the woods (i've never been to Kutna Hora, so excuse my ignorance). The composition is fine, knowing You, surely the best perspective available :)
Be well,
M.
