Photographer's Note

Prague Gate is the only surviving city gate in the name Kouřim. It is one of the best preserved early Gothic city gates in the Czech Republic. It was built in the 70th the 13th century. It is a square, two-storey today (once on one floor higher) construction with barrel vaulted passageway on the ground floor.
