Prague is called the "City of Hundred Towers", but it could also be called the city of hundred bridges.
The authors of Prague Bridges Encyclopedia have counted more than three hundred of them, not all crossing over the Vltava, but also over many other smaller rivers and brooks.

Chosen pov, composition, exposure, sharpness, dof and horizontal format are all excellent photo qualities but I mostly enjoyed all those beautiful colors!
TFS - congrats,

Le point de vue est classique sur cette jolie ville de Prague et ses ponts mais c'est évidemment l'heure rose qui fait la différence ici.Petit tour d'Europe?

A good angle to show the cascade of brdiges, and the purple tone added to the charm of the shot.

Ce point de vue sur Prague et ses ponts nous en met plein la vue. J'aime particulièrement la lumière rosée du fleuve ainsi que la lumière qui éclaire encore les beaux édifices sur la gauche. C'est très beau.

Very lovely colour and composition. The trees in the foreground add nice interest helping to guide the eye towards the row of bridges. Lovely exposure. Very well seen and captured

Hi dear Andre
This is so fantastic shot. Very well considered framework and mazenda color tone is marvelous indeed. Thanks for your sharing with nice shot and have a good day!
Takero from Tokyo
PS. Yest photo for the festival is very very difficult, compared with the landscape, portrait and so on. For that parade-shot, I used "three steps laddeer" and "a telephoto lens(300mm)", and I keep the best position 6 hours before start.

hmmm...what a coincidence!
I'll will be in Prague in just a few weeks from now!
Heading off to Poland and the Czech Rep. in late july for about a month...very excited!
This is a classic, a postcard style compo and city scape. Many photo's have been taken from here...i'm not sure exactly where "HERE" is, but its a classic POV that must to taken i suppose :)
can you let me know where is spot is?
Love the pink hues, and the purples. Very attractive scene with sharp details. Thanks for this post!

I often heard of Prague as one of the most beautiful cities in the world and it really looks nice from there ! Nice late (early ?) day light and good depth thanks to the succession of bridges.
Have a nice day,

You show how importent the composition
and point of view are. This picture has
a lots of details and would be to
busy when the subjects were not been
separated. The open space now, between
the bridges are very importent and that
makes the picture nice calmness and it
creates also layers (and that creates
the nice depth). The light management
is as alsways also great and the colors
are a nice extra, like a cherry on a

Yes to your pinkish sky and same colour reflected in the river. Beautiful viewpoint and views of this fantastic city. For me the lighting really makes this photo.
