A well known place is Stare Mesto square in Prague. A bit hard to discover angles which previous photographers have not seen and shot.
Here my purpose was to create an opera set picture , the way I did in many others. I chose the golden hour and here there was some light in the air and the sky was dark blue. I used a rather long focal and compressed a bit the colorful houses in my shot.

Wow! This is a great and thoughtful composition! I know, I’ve been there and didn’t take such a creative shot. You’ve succeeded in your goal, to create a theatrical aura with this architectural ensemble.
I also really love the isolated yellow light on the upper window.
Well done Izzet.

Nice way to show so lovely and colorful architecture. I like the way they're connecting in the middle coming from the both sides and leaving a bit of a sky was a smart move.Very well chosen angle.

Compression has worked well as it presents parallel samples of architectural detail without destraction. The lighting and color, as well as the small patch of blue sky complement the composition nicely. I must also add that the lack of distortion is welcome here. Regards,

I guess you achieved your purpose of creating a theater scene here. The colourful buildings just look like decoration :)
Beautiful photo. Excellent work.

I adore this kind of composition where the external references has almost disappears, it creates a surreal mood that, as you achieve here, could look as a stage set. The colors are fantastic and all the image invites to imagine... I would say the play is going to begin with the main caracter coming out from the upper window, the one with the light on almost in the middle of the scene.

Hello Izzet. I am really impressed with the way in which you accomplished your mission of getting an "opera set picture" here - in fact this was my first thought when opening the photo and looking at it. The frame is perfectly chosen to convey this impression, the lighting is exquisite and so are the colors and tonal range. The kind of condensed perspective at 105 mm is also nice. Good work.

Bonjour, Izzet. Un très bel assortiment de façades qui sont bien mises en valeur par la contiguîté des dfférents styles. Le petit bout de ciel bleu et la lumière artificielle viennent apporter le contraste nécessaire à la réussite de ce genre de photo.
