This is another view captured from the observation tower on Petrin Hill in Prague. I was attracted to this row of facades in different colours, not far from the castle.

Beautiful façades, specially as they are seen from that pov!
I really enjoy the management of light too!
Colors, level of sharpness and composition are excellent too!
TFS - congrats,
Enjoy your week-end,

I like the alternation between the red roofs and the facades all in soft tones.
You made this district stand out well between the dark foreground and the upper part of the picture.
It is remarkable how the built-up area has been tightly restricted and a part of the hill has remained green. That foreground looks like terraced grounds.
Best regards, Paul

Hello ERling ,
A quite dark picture , but nevertheless , I like a lot this plunging view on these splendid façades with différents shapes and colors .

Ciao e buon fine settimana

un ottimo pov per questa tua immagine, facciate e tetti si uniscono ordinatamente ed elegantemente .
C'è una luce molto bella che crea diversi tipi di luminosità che attirano l'attenzione.

Quite incredible to benefit from such a view, it really seems to have been taken from a plane ! Nice natural colors which look like a patchwork, and good mix between enlighted and shadowed facades.
Have a nice evening,

colorful and extremly picturesque for photographers city.
And even if presented quite often lately on TE-you were still able to find an original and refreshing POV to look at this beautiful city.I really enjoy this high vantage point and the view it provides us.
I like also your tight framing, which makes we focus even more on architectural aspects of Prague.
Wish You a nice sunday

Malgré une lumière un peu inégale, tu as réussi une intéressante photo de ces façades de Prague aux couleurs variées.

Hello Erling - The neat rows of buildings with their colourful paintwork are very nicely lit here and the details are crisp and well captured. Your elevated vantage point has allowed us to see 'layers' of buildings and from here they look almost like a toy-town. A beautiful location. Warm regards Rosemary

this massive group of austere, colourful and picturesque buildings looks so attractive. The smooth play of light and shade on them creates a special atmosphere and enhances the charm of this clear downward view. I like very much the tight framing that eliminates possible distractions, the field makes a thick, sweeping band that sets off the complicated geometry above. The moody colours are lovely. A strange wish has occurred to me, I'd like to have a look into each one of these windows:) Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely evening,

my goodness....as i looked at this photo i was wondering where in Norway did you capture it!
Guess I got that totally wrong :)
Prague is an amazing city isn't it!
love the varied lighting conditions and the way the buildings are so vertically upright - as if they have good posture :)
enjoy your day
