Birds - Swans
Swans are birds of the family Anatidae within the genus Cygnus. The swans' close relatives include the geese and ducks. Swans usually mate for life, though "divorce" does sometimes occur, particularly following nesting failure. The number of eggs in each clutch ranges from three to eight. This couple is "happily" enjoing in the ending of a day on the Vltava River in September.
Bridge - Vyšehrad Railway
The Vyšehrad Railway Bridge (Železnicní most pod Vyšehradem) is 4th oldest bridge and 2nd oldest railway bridge over Vltava River. The bridge connects Smíchov with the right bank under Vyšehrad. Bridge's steel truss structure consists of three 69.9 m spans. The deck is 8.1 m wide. The bridge was built during the years 1900-1901 on the location of a former single-track railway bridge.
Towers - Saint Peter and Paul church
Originally founded in 1070-1080 by the Czech King Vratislav II, the Romanesque basilica suffered a fire in the year 1249 and has been rebuilt in gothic in the days of the King Charles IV (14th century) and later in neo-Gothic style. In the early of 18th century, Church was rebuilt to Baroque style by Giovanni Santini design.The basilica features an impressive stone mosaic above its entry, and its twin 58 m towers can be seen atop a hill to the south from along the Vltava River in central Prague. Behind the church is located large park and Vyšehrad cemetery, the final resting place of many famous Czechs, including author Karel Čapek. In 2003 the church was elevated to basilica by Pope John Paul II.
