I thought I would post 1 more photo from this mini series about rooftop views - hopefully causing some vertigo in some TE members! haha
This shot is taken atop the City Hall tower in Prague's main square. Out of all the rooftops i've climbed up to, this is the only one that actually had an elevator!
If anyone can try to count the people and give me a number I'd be very impressed and I'll be feeling sorry for you at the same time! haha
thanks for looking everyone.
And Gert....you sometimes remind me to include more people in my photos...do i get bonus points for this one?!! :)

Here comes the obsessive compulsive part... When I saw your title, and the big O of people, I thought they were spelling out the numbers from 0 to 10, and if I look hard enough I can find the right people in the right places to draw out all those numbers. Yeay. I think....
Great shot from the rooftop, and vertigo inducing to me, it looks like you are up quite a height. The big circle makes me wonder what the person in the middle is doing, perhaps Pragues most popular mime artist? They have the right pose in this scene. Must have been nice to find an elevator.
All the best

A few images always sensitize the mind and makes me think that when I fly in a hot air balloon, I must try the 90 degree POV.
Absolute clarity, sharp focus, and a stunning image.

No, thank you very much - I'm dizzy enough just looking at your picture without trying to count all the people in the square below! But, WOW, see just how useful your map is - I've just discovered by looking at it (and zooming in) that you were at the top of the tower which also bears this amazing astronomical clock!!!
A brilliant scene from on high is this one, even although it looks like there is also a huge circle of people standing around having watched one guy murder another - or is that perhaps some street performer?
Good composition with the complex statue of Jan Hus perfectly placed in the frame at top left and fascinating details of the surroundings and, of course, the myriad people thronging the square. Lovely light and colours, perfect exposure and your usual stunning details and sharpness.
Now where's my Stemetil?

hello Craig, had it elevator? I do not remember. But the most ugly tower also had an elevator :). I will not count the people there. There are not so many of them. The Hus monument looks interesting, like an island on the sea.
what amazes me is this big O from people. What was going on there?
I found an easy way to put the map too.

Before I opened this photo up, I thought the tiny people below might be lined up to create numbers when looking from above...like something you might see on a football field during a show! Ha ha! I do see a zero, but otherwise the people are randomly spread out...and I like it! :-) I like all the specks of color, and the monument included in the shot.

there are exactly 218 people over there. count them if you can. being a bird should be a crazy difficult thing. how will you decide which head to drop the poo?
a unique photo from a billion timed photographed city. you nailed it!

I would you very gladly give extra bonus points for the a lot people on this square.
Nice taken out of the height, we get a nice game to see on this square.
But a very nice picture taken with high quality and sharpness.
Very well composition, excellent captured. TFS.

You dare taking persons in picture, CONGRATULATIONS! And not only one, but 251!
I like the round of them, looking at a musician maybe, and the girl bottom left taking in picture her 3 mates (she is the only photographer in this crowd!)
Spend a nice afternoon

If you're actually satisified with some 360 odd people, all right then. You can count my green smiley as a bonus (even though I lost count roughly halfway through.)
It's fun to watch how so many have formed themselves into little groups, including of course all those towards the left side watching some performers from a safe distance. As could be expected there is a lot of interaction between people, but I can't understand why some are actuall lying down. They will get dirty, won't they? Maybe they've had more Czech beer than they could handle.
This is a fun photo and a reminder to you that the next time you climb a tower (you will very soon, I'm sure) remember to point the camera downwards too.
Have a good day.

Always spectacular scene, I like the result of your panorama over the main square.
Have a good day.

Well, that's it when it comes to avoid photographing people:)
better than a class photo from school:)
But seriously the composition is superb!
The high perspective and so many people on the square make the shot really interesting.Great idea to look at the Prague from this high POV and to concentrate not on its sights, just on its inhabitants and tourists.

Well, let's see...1,2,3,....o.k., that's enough...I give up! :)
I missed a couple of your posts, so I'm backtracking just a bit. Love these elevated perspectives, they always make for some of the most intriguing viewpoints. It's fun sometimes just to stop and watch the people below...it's like looking down and observing from an alien spacecraft...I wonder what they must think of our actions?? :)
This is a great view of the square, full of life, which leaves a lot to the imagination...just what is everyone doing exactly, where are they going, and as John pointed out...is the circle of people formed because they're standing around watching someone get murdered?? It's a fun take looking downward, all of the individual colored specks dotting the open space...much to scan over with curious regard. Nicely done indeed, and always with a conscious composition. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Take it easy,

Excellent high pov to cover up so much space on the ground. The tiny men and women walking across the area.Very beautiful and compelling view of the street in daylight.I love the simplicity of your composition.Excellent composition, good presentation too. Very well done, TFS.

Challanging task you ask for, Creaig, my bald estimate there are some two hundred...
Yet, a marvelous photo from higher observation point, vivid and vibrant with the many people around.
