Photographer's Note
This is the eigth of a new series with 10 captures from Prague I made in the year 1988.
While searching for some slides in my archive I've found them and noticed that I didn't post any captures from Prague yet.
This and coming 2 entries are been scanned from 35 mm Ektachrome slides, therefore the quality may not be as perfect as it should be. But still some nice pictures made almost 25 years ago from this beautiful city at Vitava.
Here a street view from the most visited part of Prague . People around the famous "orloj" waiting for it's performance.

Hello Mesut,
Judging from the clothing of the visitors, it must have been rather cold in Prague and this while it was already mid-June.
The medieval astronomical clock that is still working today, is one of the highlights of a visit of Prague. I remember that I was very impressed when I first saw it. I also remember the hordes of visitors around the tower and on the adjacent Old Town Square.
Here you show us that busy atmosphere together with the calendar, the clock and the windows where the moving figures appear.
Very beautiful historical document!
Best regards, Paul

Hello Mesut,
Today I beat you by almost two years! I remember well this famous clock from my only visit to Prague. It's a marvellous construction which probably fascinates every tourist. You have captured the façade of the bulding very well along with the crowds waiting for the spectacle.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Mesut,
THe presence of the people has an effect of scale. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the building. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
Pierre
