Certovka (Devil's Stream) is an artificial canal that separates the island of Kampa from the Lesser Town mainland. It was dug by the Knights Hospitaller from the neighbouring Grand Priory at the Church of Our Lady under Chain in the Middle Ages to provide stream for mills in the Lesser Town.The island of Kampa was created this way. Three of the mills at Čertovka are still preserved and two of them retained the millwheels.

It is charming place, the view from the Charles Bridge.

haha...i know this viewpoint exactly!! Tosca and I have a few photo's of it aswell.
looking at your example, i like that you kept the skyline OUT of the frame, that we we can solely focus in on the buildings, water, and colors.

Witaj Malgorzato,
wiele pojawia sie tutaj na TE zdjec z Pragi,ale ten piekny zakatek widze po raz pierwszy.Wrazenie,jakbysmy sie znalezli w Wenecji.Do tego sama woda i te niesamowite odbicia na jej powierzchni sprawiaja,ze mam wrazenie jakbym ogladal jeden z obrazow Claude Moneta.
Piekne miejsce.

Malgosiu,
piekne swiatlo mialas, ktore ozywilo cale zdjecie i sprawilo, ze kolory sa bardzo cieple i mile dla oka. Dobry kontrast i ostrosc. Cala kompozcyja naprawde udana. Podoba mi sie ten troche ciasniejszy kadr i wkomponowanie kawalka ogrodzenia na pierwszym planie.

Hi Malgo,
I was about to say: Venezia in Prague, but for sure the architecture's looks as it was not an Italian town.
View on the canal from local bridge in Lesser town, was found near but well off the regular tourists routs. Cheers for taht.
Fine taken shot, DOF and the clarity are super.
