Today was my third and last day in Prague. I was very lucky with the weather. I had one gorgeous sunny day, yesteday was changing, today was sun with snow. I hope you like this view of Hradcany with the snow petals.

Brrrrrrrr how cold it seems, but you said weather is fine
Never see sun and snow together, here snow seems a veil covering the beautiful colorful houses and so nice domes
you obtained a great light effect

Hi Malgo,

I've just seen Romana's picture taken two days before yours - she had lovely sunshine and clear skies and you have snow!

But the sunshine streaming through the snowflakes is just divine, lighting the distant buildings beautifully and lending a beautiful patina to the whole scene. As well as that, the details and the colours are wonderful and your picture is beautifully composed.

I love this one, Malgo!

Beautiful snow capture in my favorite city, Malgo! We here are in the middle of what might turn out to be the biggest blizzard in Boston's history, so I'm a bit tired of snow already, but this has a wonderful charm to it, especially given the background with the Castle, Charles Bridge, and some of Prague's most recognizable landmarks in the BG. A beautiful snowy shot - glad you enjoyed your time in Prague!

PS - how mutually intelligible are Polish and Czech? I remember them as being quite close as languages, but are you able to carry out conversation easily?

approfittando della neve che cadeva copiosa ha realizzato uin bel quadretto di Praga, facendo in modo che il castello apparisse sfumato dietro alle case sulla riva della Moldava.
Un'ottima idea che hai realizzato molto bene e che appare piacevole anche per le infinite macchioline bianche dovute ai fiocchi di neve.
Belli i colori, sfumati e delicati, giusto il contrasto e buona anche la nitidezza, tenuto conto delle condizioni climatiche.

wspaniala zimowa fotografia. Znakomity POV. Bardzo ciekawe ze za warstwa sniegu na pierwszym planie widac lepsze swiatlo i chyba niebieskie niebo. Bardzo atrakcyjna panorama, widac kilka atrakcyjnych sylwetek znanych budowli.

Dear Malgorzata,

Fantastic and very impressive picture of the Prague castle district in the snowfall. Everything is actually in this picture. The river in the foreground adds some special atmosphere to the picture.

Sliczny, bajkowy krajobraz, jakze inny niz typowe zdjecie Hradczanow! Swietnie udalo ci sie uwiecznic nastroj chwili.

Hi Malgo,
You must have experienced some very special conditions here, snow and sunshine! This certainly has contributed the this attractive picture, the impressive buildings on the background hill are in a haze but the closer buildings are showing very strong colours. This looks indeed like a very beautiful and interesting city!

There are many similar landscape captures of Prague here at TE but this is the fist one I've ever seen with such a nice and heavy snow fall !
The snow falls and the sun shines, what else does a photographer need ?
