Photographer's Note

On a trip with the kids I teach I had very little time to take pictures, but snapped a few. We were so lucky with the weather - after two days of heavy rains some blue sky appeared and the winter sun was shyly casting beautiful light on the buildings next to the Charles bridge.

Dobry vecer Romana
You have a splendid mild winter light and of course the pale yellow houses stand out nicely on the blue cloudy sky
Maybe I'd have been tempted to crop or clone the black little cloud which is not quite in the mood, in my personal taste

Indeed, the weather was on your side, with soft light and a great sky, featuring clouds that bring so much dimension to your image.

You have found a very nice angle to present a portion of the cityscape, where towers meet dome and stunning facades. Beautiful!

Hi Romana, we were the same day in Prague, I go back home tomorrow. We were lucky with the weather indeed, it was gorgeous day. Beautfiul view of the Novotheho lavka.

Hello dear Romana,

Oh, how times change! I remember most of the times of my schooldays but I don't ever recall having been taken on a trip to a big city with a pretty young teacher - all I remember is sitting in dull classrooms learning arithmetic, grammar and spelling! What wonderful and exciting opportunities young children have these days!

Despite the fact that you had little time for photography, nonetheless this picture is stunning. Perfectly composed with the tall towers sitting right at the right vertical "third", gorgeous vibrant colours, perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.

Very nice capture from Prague. A view been captured many many times but yours has a perfect ligth on it an evidenece why this bautiful city is been called also Golde Prague !
