Photographer's Note
I wanted to show another view from what seems to be the top of world.
I'm sure our fellow TE member John (tyro) will appreciate this scene from high up in the sky :)
He hates heights! haha
One of my favorites views, the open square in the heart of old town Prague.
-------------------------------------------------------
As I'm viewing this post, I see how its a little dark. Some TE members have mentioned in the past how colors seem to lighten or darken when displayed on TE, when the original photo on our own personal computers show it differently.
Hmmm...same case with this post. My version is much brighter...interesting.
Anyone have any info about this issue?

Good morning Craig,
What a dizzying perspective, I love it though...feels like I'm right up there myself. What a beautiful city, a place I've wanted to visit for quite some time now and hopefully I will sooner than later. I can see why this would be a favorite vantage point, spectacular view over the city. The soft light sets a great atmosphere and the wide angle really shows off the splendid architecture surrounding the square. Superb presentation!
Cheers,
Jason

Ciao Craig
Complimenti per la bella foto della città di Praga.
Uno spettacolare colpo d'occhio nel quale emerge il rosso dei tetti che riempe di colore la bella composizione.

Hi, Craig, my neighbour today,
Well, we show two European capitals from the top points today. Why not? I like this view too! I like to use a wide angle lens in the city too. Outstanding result!
Best wishes,
Serghei

Bonjour Craig
Il faut monter toutes ces marches dans un escalier très étroit mais le résultat en vaut la peine. Même si la lentille crée de la distorsion, j'apprécie le résultat.
Amicalement

hi Craig
I know where you were and I did not remember that it was this high !
Very nice shot of this famous square in Prague with a good blend of the various colors, red roofs, blue sky and gray-black of the pavement
A nice mild light as well
Bravo, well done

Hi Craig,
Apart from the vertigo, I love this one!
I'm sure that this was taken from very, very high up, but yet your ultra-wide lens has exaggerated the perspective as well as the height, the people in the square below looking just like ants.
Again, excellent composition, amazing details and sharpness and lovely light and colours too.
Fabulous!
Kind Regards,
John.
P.S. To answer your question, I don't think that this one is too dark at all though it is perhaps just a little on the dark side, if you know what I mean. To be honest, I've never really noticed if my pictures are darker on TE than prior to upload - but then my pictures are pretty mediocre and I probably wouldn't notice the difference anyway. I know that Lisa has commented that sometimes her pictures appear to have a funny colour cast which wasn't previously noticeable.
P.P.S. Again, this would be a super shot for "Panoramio" and I'm sure they would welcome it with open arms!

Hello Craig,
I hate heights too. But I like this photo because I can hold tigh to my desk. Anyway the view of this beautiful city is marvellous with its red roofs and fine façades. And I don't think this has become too dark. I used to have problems with pictures appearing different after uploading, but if I remember it correctly mine actually became lighter. I think it got better after I had changed computer, although I actually kept the same monitor. Very strange.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Craig!
It's certainly a very beautiful cityscape!
It's a very attractive picture too!
Sharpness, management of (difficult) light, colors, chosen pov, horizontal format, slim black borders and composition are all excellent!
I'm not afraid of heights... I love "climbing" to reach building's tops to have an overall view of the place!!!!
TFS - congrats,
Cheers,

Hi, Serghei went very high and you also. Wonderful panorama. It seems very high. From were you took this shot? Composition, colours, sharpness all stunning.
I can't waiting when I try to make such photos :). I marked already on the map the places I want to visit. Still three weeks to wait...
Warm regards

Craig - again you taunt me with beautiful shots of Prague... and of my favorite building in the city, the beautiful Tyn Church! The wide view here is awesome, seeing the city stretch out behind Old Town, and the tiny people about in the square. Very odd about the color and lighting - you'd think TE would have figured this issue out by now, as it's been persistent for a while. I've never experienced it personally, but I know many others have... In any event, I'm sorry I can't see it as intended, but even in this form it is excellent. Thanks!

Hi Craig
a superb POV and fascinating view of this beautiful square. Your series of shots from Prague make me realise that I really should go and take a look myself. Your usual superbly accomplished execution here and stunning presentation.
Not sure about the TE resolution issues, but I am still loathe to visit the forums as my virus software is still warning me about risky behaviour there. Shame as I really want to see what is being discussed!
Regards - Brian.

Hola Craig
So up and up to obtain this bird view capture of Stanislas Square, it deserves the climb
The darker parts are well compensated by the rd of the roofs
Good work, congrats

Hello Craig
Now that is high and I mean really high. Great overview over a beautiful part of Prague with its nice old hanseatic houses. Even the opposite church looks dwarfed from your position. There is a pleasing and attractive light on the houses as well, while the square itself is nicely shadowed.
Stunning indeed.
have a good evening

Hello Craig
Wooops! Anyone with a vertigo is advised not to see this picture! :-)
I see the exif time as 0948 am....but there seems to be a paucity of light overall, as if the sun was covered by clouds...was it the case or is the exif data time, not the CET?
The view is wonderful with the antesque people making us understand the height. But I love the lovely architecture in soft light!
Cheers!

Hello Craig!
Bellissima! Never seen Prague from up here! POV very interesting and unusual! Graie you for sharing my photos, the square is deserted and turned off the fountain as the city is under reconstruction after the earthquake devastated Which four years ago! See my notes in the picture above and Those Already published in the past! Thank you! Nino.
