Photographer's Note
Its very hard to choose which city I enjoyed more, Prague or Warsaw, and you could actually include many more cities from each country as every city we visited was beautiful.
Prague and Warsaw were my two favorites, each for different reasons. I would say that Prague had the better tower views, overlooking the city.
A prime example would be this view here, taken from the Charles Bridge Tower. Seeing views like this made me fall in love with the city immediately.
Hope you like the photo, and yes its HDR - couldn't help myself as i'm on a HDR kick lately :)
Have a peaceful Sunday
Cheers

Hello Craig - The first thing that strikes me about this view are the myriad spires and towers set against the soft grey sky, your elevated vantage point shows the skyline off to perfection and it's easy to see why the location impressed you. There is a genteel elegance which permeates the shot provided by the graceful buildings, just look at the soft curve of the line created by the street on the RHS... wonderful and it leads us gently into the centre of the shot where we see impressive verdigris spires and the contrasting soft lilac façade. So many marvellous details. A fine shot. Warm regards Rosemary

Great depth of colours and sharpness of images. the contrasts are excellent.
The old city scape with the facade of the cathedral in the foreground is an excellent capture.
The various shades of red tiles of the roofs are interesting.
Of similar variety and interest are the numerous spires and beltowers that are scattered around the panorama of the photograph.
Thanks for sharing, Craig.

Buongiorno Craig
un pov molto particolare che ci fa ammirare la facciata di questa chiesa nel bel contesto cittadino, peccato la luce non ti sia stata di aiuto, ma il risultato è molto bello.

Dear Craig,
I tend to agree with you that it is difficult to make up our minds on the cities we prefer as each has its own charm, beauty and architecture. The view you have presented here is superb in sense of architecture, colurs and details. Sometimes, a view like this is simply 'enough', isn't it?
TFS and have a great WE,
May

hi craig,
the symmetry of this image is what speaks to me first with this picture. you have obviously taken some time and composed this perfectly to achieve wonderful balance. as usual with your HDR images the detail and sharpness is stunning. i olve the little glimpse we get of the side street in the foreground just to the right of centre. shoppers are just visible and the lights are beautiful. a real cracker.
have a great sunday,
brian

Did you climb every tower in the city, Craig? Not that I'd blame you if you did - I'd just be impressed! This is a beautiful angle looking out into Old Town - almost a picture of your Prague experience laid out right here, with the City Hall tower and the Radio Tower visible here. Nice use of HDR to bring out the tones and shades throughout.

Hello Craig,
Prague from above looks really beautiful and captivating,so I can undertand that you couldn´t leave climbing all these towers to look at the city from a higher perspective. And I have to say I enjoy both-the view you provide us from this vantage point and HDR treatment, which brings out all details and beautiful colors out of this scene.Eye-catching composition!
Have a nice sunday

Hello Craig,
There is HDR and there is HDR. Sometimes it's so overdone it looks horrible, but the way you do it it's great. The contrasts are very good and the colors are superb. The clouds are really well done too. It's a magnificent view with all those towers, the curve of the nearest street, the red brick roofs etc etc.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Craig,
Without this elevated pov, we would be unable to see the fine sculptures that adorn the building in the f/g. Where else would you be able to appreciate them!
I like the way the buildings on the right create a gentle curve, guiding so neatly, from the f/g to the focal building.
It is quite amazing, the number of spires and turrets; buildings were meant to be admired, to have an individual presence, in days goneby.
A great dof allows to enjoy the whole rooftops scene. Now I know how Bert felt in the Mary Poppins film!
Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

Hello Craig,
Prague is often called the city of a hundred spires and your viewpoint shows it off perfectly. You captured in one shot some of the most distinctive landmarks of the city, and your image quality and detail are truly excellent. I love the superb clarity and the crisp colours you've captured in this attractive, well composed image. Wonderful job, Craig.

Hi Craig!
Another great view! - just fantastic with so many beautiful old buildings and elegant church towers. The lights along the street gives it a special atmosphere. You have done a good job with the HDR - the photo looks very natural! And it was really worth the effort of climbing the stairs:)!

Hi Craig,
Thanks for letting the less intelligent amongst us know that this is HDR! Even now, after all the tuition you have given me, I nearly always get it wrong! But perhaps that is testament to the wonderfully subtle and expert way in which you carry out your HDR work - after all, not many people actually worry about how Michaelangelo mixed his paints; all they care about is the fact that the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel is indeed so beautiful.
And this is beautiful too - well composed with all the elements pleasingly placed in the frame and with the line of the roofs on the right leading the eye nicely into the picture. Tremendous detail and sharpness (both of which, I notice, fail with poor HDR work) and so much to see over the rooftops and even down at street level at bottom right. Gorgeous true colours too and spot-on exposure.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hi Craig,
You have some really fantastic images of Prague, including this one. Beautiful POV here giving us lots of details of Prague's ornate roofline. Your composition though really makes the image stand out, especially the centre positioning of the symmetrical building in front of us. Great job!
