Photographer’s Note
After London let's take a little break and go to Prag. Not only does it allow me to add one touch of color on my travelling map, but this is a place i particularly liked.
This shot was taken at the bottom of the Venceslas square. It is called the Koruna palace, because of the top of its angle tower, that looks like a crown. Antonin Pfeiffer (1879-1938) succeeded, in the modification of this office and business building in 1931-1932 to include and mix Art nouveau and constructivist elements.
This is personally one of my favorite buildings in Prag, together with the one I am posting today on Treklens. Please tell me which one is your favorite of the two.

praha is also one of my favorite cities, i love its exceptional bohemian atmosphere; as for the pic - i wish i could see it in a vertical version; i like colours on the photography - nice contrast of the building and the sky

Thsi is much cleaner then the TL post Eris...obviosly hehe. One thing i really like here is the strong composition. It is as if you tell the viwer...start at the bottom right, follow the diagonal, raise your eyes and look at the statue...admire the roof and notice the contrast between the heaviness of the building and the light air behind it. This image is very strong in that sence Eric and IMHO the winner of the two.

I rather prefer this one. You concentrate our regards in an only element but you achive to transmit the all idea. I like this kind of arquitecture too. I do like modern arquitecture but I miss this kind of combination between sculpture and buildings. Today everything is to much geometrical, too much. I think we need curves, human representations and strange corners. Thanks for this Prague moment, since I went there I always think how this town was prior to the II World war. Greetings from Madrid.

I like the colours you have captured here, the details of the building are also very sharp.
The POV although good makes the tower appear to 'tilt' a little though.

Hey, tough gym guys you got here, Eric, each and eveyone of them has a six pack ;-))
You got a beautiful cloud, and the dash of blue (green? copper?) in the building is very nice.
Nice building, I was in Prague in '97, it was really an amazing, beautiful city

Very fine shot. Sharp and with nice colors. The sky is superb also! Very fine job for a 14 years photo.
