Hi Fusun. A real pleasure to see that you're still around here. I like the tilt in this compo and the large upper section occupied by the graphical ceiling. B&W helps to create a moody atmosphere. You have a good point of view and management of light.

Hey Fusun, does your nickname stand for Barfly this time?

Good job on BW conversion, an effective slant, ceiling lamp is welcomed to populate the upper part of the pic and give the pic a balance. In that respect, it's a success.

You also managed to click at the right moment, just when time is getting late, the only consumer begins to feel alone and starts peering at the bargirl who, herself, discovers that sudden increase of interest.

Could be the beginning of a story...

It reminded me our bars in city line boats in Bosphorus...maybe 20-30 years ago. Do you remember, Istanbul was not so crowded, people were more polite and drinking was allowed even in a 20 minutes trip. I think angle of the photo helped that 'recall'.

Hi Fusun. Good to see a photo from you. I think this shot is quite a lot better than you suggest. Actually, I think it is really good. I like your toning very much, for some reason I like the off level composition and I think your exposure couldn't be better. My only slight suggestion is that I wish there was perhaps a little less room on the top, there seems to be too much space to me. Good shot.

Great tones in this difficult exposure, detail in the shadows, and hardly any OE bits. What an appropriate view from the country with the highest per capita intake of beer in the world.

Hi Fusun, it's so nice to see a picture from your hand. I must say that I was totally absent for the last weeks as well, among other things because I lack time. It doesn't mean you're out of my thoughts, though.
I like the tilt, and the detached feeling it gives, beacuse of the B&W. The person, being so alone in the bar, just makes me feel sorry for him.
Very nice one, Fusun.

I hope you're Ok, I also wish you a very good New Year!!, together with your lovely son.

but something here is different as compared to the rest of your photographs.. it's not very warm.. i mean it's good..but it reminds me of some of the advertisement shots..
im not saying that it's bad.. it's good .really.. but it's just different

I like this pic. A bit more sharpened than my taste, but still a good moody one. I like the beer counter, and the silent row of wine bottles above. The communication is good between the two character also.
