Photographer’s Note
When I visited Prague in 2005, there was not a Starbucks to be found anywhere. In fact, one of my travel mates checked their website for locations. But when I returned this year, I happened upon several. This particular shot was taken in Old Town Square, in the heart of the city, directly across from the astronomical clock. I'm not sure if this modernization is an indication of Prague's progression from its communist past, or if it simply steals some of the city's charm. You be the judge...
