Photographer’s Note
Holašovice, for many an unknown village that is lost somewhere in the middle of the South Bohemian forests and ponds, for the others it is a unique reservation of historical monuments and a part of the world cultural heritage. It is located only 15 km to the west of Ceské Budjovice.
The so - called folk, or Rural Baroque, causes the unique atmosphere of Holašovice. It is a type of a rural architecture, based on using baroque, rococo and classicist building elements in the environment of a village.

On the whole there are many good things about this image. The contrast with the gray sky and bright buildings is very striking. However, for me at least, if you angled your POV so we could a see little more of the fronts of the buildings, I think it would be a stronger shot!

Hi Franz,
Dark sky meets red roof buildings, very nice contrast. Great shot. Nicely captured and very well composed. Sharp and clear. Very nice PoV.

Wonderful place, and picture.I like the pre rain mood with enough sun shining on to those beautiful houses.
