St Vitus Church, a photo from Plzensky, Bohemia

Photographer's Note

This is a beautiful church on the Vlatava river in Cesky Krumlov. I have several other pictures on TE of this city and I will post several more. It is only a short drive from Linz, Austria. We go there often, but have not been there for two years, maybe next year.

Yes, Cesky Krumlov is a beautiful city. This is an interesting angle on the river and the church.

Hi Roger, I remember your other photos from Cesky krumlov. You went there from Arizona, half world away, and I haven't been there. Too near maybe. Beautiful Gothic church, nice place.I must visit it one day. When you will go there next time, I could also go there.

Hi Roger,

The houses are framing well the church. the point of view is showing the details and colors of the archiotecture of the church. The cloudy sky is giving a good contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.

Now I have some idea what folks are talking about when they describe a 'Bohemian' landscape. The pointed turret of the castle like building juts up abruptly against the white cloudy sky to add a nice graphic element. Nice warm cold color contrasts between the yellow facade, red roof tops & the blue grey sky. Tfs!

Very Beautiful shot you got here. I only been to prague, but ther eis some simularity style of churchs. beuatiful sky with nice cloud formation, wonderful color of the brick red roof. The river adds to the charm to the overall landscape. I wish to return to CR but so many places so little time.

nice the view as the presentation of the beautiful church with its impressive and unique bell tower to dominates the image.

Fabulous composition of this place so amazing, beautiful row of houses on the banks of the river, but the vast bulk of the church surprises with its enormous height and beauty, the sky is also beautiful and a great bonus for the composition .
