Photographer’s Note
The Svojanov Castle is the wonderful place above the river Křetínka on the borderland of Bohemia and Moravia, not far from Polička. You can spend here your holiday, it's very recreative.
The Svojanov castle was built in the 13th century by King Přemysl Otakar II to protect an important road leading from Litomyšl to Brno.
Time and fires left the castle damaged, but its watchtower surrounded by walls, bastions, men-at-arms' building and palace have survived to this day.
I like tree silhouettes on the damaged wall.
