Photographer’s Note

...apart from the former Sandpit, shown on my previous photo, the rock town of Adrspach hides another jewel - strangely coloured waters of a little lake hidden deeply in the forests among rocks.

It can be seen only from a special ferry taking visitors along the death still waters from one end to the other...ferry I was on was called "Titanic 2" and we got out in "port" (which was a small rocky platform with only way out - through very narrow rocky gorge) called "Singapur"...

The rock town of Adrspach is the smaller part of the Adrspach-Teplice Rocks formed by thick-bedded sandstone. Together with the Teplice Rocks, it forms the biggest compact rock town in the Czech Republic. At the same time, these two rock towns are famous all over Europe.
