Autumn Panorama of River Junction Photo

Photographer’s Note

Hradec Králové is an old town built on the junction of two rivers Labe (Elbe) - on the left and Orlice (the name means a female Eagle) on the right. There is the most beautiful town park in the middle and the trees along the banks are just turning colourful these days.

If you click on the image for the large version, you will notice the steeples of the Gothic cathedral of Holy Spirit and renaissance bell-tower called the White Tower.

Beautiful!

What beautiful colours and contrasts! Wonderful trees in their autumn foliage and beautiful reflections in the rivers of that fabulous sky! And such incredible detail in your large panoramic version! I can see the steeples very well indeed.

I must try to do some panoramic pictures soon - how many images did you use to make this? Did you use a tripod for the shots?

Wonderful panorama. I love the larger version where you could see all the details such as the woman feeding the swans and other birds and the spires of the Cathedral. Beautiful light and great clouds. TFS and have nice evening!
