This is a view of the old part of town of Cesky Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is situated in the bend of the Vltava River. The Old Town is on the right side of the picture, and part of Cesky Krumlov Castle can be seen on the left. I got very lucky on this day because the day began very wet and overcast and it cleared up by mid-afternoon.

In my many visits to the Czech Republic I have not yet visited this beautiful town, although many others have told me I must. Your photo is taken from a great viewpoint, and we get not only the slight curve in the river, but the two opposing towers on left and right, and a lovely horizon of fields under the blue sky. Nice work.
