Photographer's Note
Looking back to my memories from the Czech Republic, this blue hour photo is taken in Cesky Krumlov.
Far into the bg is the Castle, and in the lower fg you'll see a mess of people walking about - that ghostly type of image was captured from the 30 sec exposure.
Looking forward to hearing your comments about this one.
Have a great TE day!
Cheers

This is a shot that really shows your mastery of blue hour long exposures, Craig. You identified a perfect spot, where you'd get different and vibrant colors and excellent light sources, and you divided the frame up well to manage them all. The 30 seconds is enough to fully illuminate the castle in dramatic, multi-directional light and to give a beautiful tone to the sky as the sun sets. On the right, the brightness of the lamp is managed quite well considering its proximity and long exposure while casting a really nice glow on the wall and on the trees and ghosted people below. Very impressive work.

Hello Craig,
beautiful blue hour shot with lots of ghosts in the left bottom corner :-). I can see a big face with moustache next to the benches which makes this picture even more ghostly. Anyway - beautiful place and superb contrast and sharpness.
Best regards

Hello Craig,
I like the castle and blue sky in this one, but for me, the strength of the light on the right side is a bit overwhelming. It pulls me away from the rest of the scene. I do like the orange glow that it casts over the foreground, but the light itself is screaming at me!! Ha ha! ;-) That's just my personal take!

Hi Craig,
A very good combination of colours, the warm and golden colours of illuminated part with the cold blue sky. Also beautiful architecture in this pleasantly composed picture.
Kind regards

Une heure bleue aux couleurs bien saturées et contrastées. Le lampadaire trop lumineux attire peut-être un peu trop les yeux?

Hi Craig
Prague was one of the places I applied for a job tefl (teaching English Foreign Language) A fantastic blue hour shot with good sharpness & a marvellous warm cold colour contrast between the blue & orange. The intense color saturation works well too. Tfs!

Hi Craig
a beautifully mellow shot this and a creative piece of imagery. Love the golden light and the blues which make the light all the more fascinating and intense. An accomplished execution and striking presentation. Wonderful work!
Have a good week - Brian.

Hello Craig,
Not the easiest of lighting conditions to handle, but you have managed reasonably successfully. Good hot and cold tonal contrasts and some nice detailing in the architecture. The ghostly foreground is a bonus introducing some softer textures to the scene.

Bonjour Craig
J'aime beaucoup le titre. Il convient à merveille aux teintes vives qui se dégagent de cette image. Les accents de lumière sont vifs et prennent appui sur le bleu du ciel pour se mettre en valeur.

Gidday Craig
Sorry I've not been around much lately. It's 43 centigrade here today (or 107 fahrenheit) and so have been sitting here in my Y-fronts and sweaty wife-beater trying to get the energy to write 20 critiques. Not sure if I'll make it :) Lucky you don't have vision on your computer, it's not a pretty sight.
Anyway, to your photo. Were you hanging out a window when you took this, you snow-shoeing, man-blading dare devil? Anyway, a great POV and I love the effect of that long-exposure on the ghostly images on the left. You're going to have to start up a Spooky Theme. The architecture is so classic and I really like the lamp on the right and the light it throws onto the wall.
Well, the strength is leaving me. Speak to you soon and I've enjoyed looking at your beautiful photos, even if I hav been a bit quiet.
Cheers
Lisa

Hello, Craig,
The colours are superb! Excellent management, what's happened in the low left angle? I see some movement there ))) I like this picturesque photo from Krumlov. I'd like to visit this town some later. TFS!

Hello Craig!
30 seconds is a lot but I like the ghost like people in the ground left. What I might have avoided (but for sure you know better & are a better judge), the lamp on the right, brightly burning or else reduced the 'glare' with PP. What I like is the contrast between the blue hour sky with the artifically lit up castle! Well done my friend!
Cheers
