Photographer’s Note
This monument which is situated in the middle of the Gundulićeva Poljana (a morning marketplace) is of Dubrovnik's famous poet, Ivan Gundulić.
more info from Wikipedia:
Ivan (Dživo) Franov Gundulić also Giovanni Francesco Gondola; January 9, 1589–December 8, 1638) is the most celebrated Croatian Baroque poet from the Republic of Ragusa. His work embodies central characteristics of Roman Catholic Counter-Reformation: religious fervor, insistence on "vanity of this world" and zeal in opposition to "infidels." Gundulić's major works—the epic poem Osman, the pastoral play Dubravka, and the religious poem "Tears of the Prodigal Son" (based on the Parable of the Prodigal Son) are examples of Baroque stylistic richness and, frequently, rhetorical excess.

Hello Sayat,
Your lower POV created splendid geometry of facades in blue sky. I like its clarity and sharpness that shows the quality of your capture. I also remember the wonderful dome from your earlier posts and its a good idea too including here. Congratulations.
Friendly Regards,
Ertugrul
PS. Is there any photo from marketplace?

Dear Sayat
Like the low POV as the facades seem to envelop the statue from all sides. Like the light as it falls on the dome. Like this shot my friend, very nice.
Regards
Angshu
