I loved that combination together.. with d colors, d bike, chairs, that lovely door..so it caught my attention:)

Zadar is a Croatian city located between Rijeka and Split, not far away from Sibenik. It is a few thousand years old town and it was the capital of Dalmatia for many centuries. The Zadar peninsula still preserves very old network of narrow and charming city streets, as well as a Roman forum dating back to the first century AD. The pre-Romanesque Church of St. Donat dates back to the ninth century, and it is certainly Zadar's most famous spot. Zadar is also well known for having the attractive Romanesque churches: Cathedral of St. Anastasia from 13th century and Church of St. Chrysogonus from 12th century as well as the church tower of St. Mary dating back from 12th century too.

The town is fortified with medieval walls, distinguished for their pretty and impressive ports – entries in the city all dating back to the sixteenth century.

Hi Linda,
the fresh bright red is an excellent contrast to the peeling wall next to it. Good composition, even though i may have prefered a tighter crop to hide the change of road at the bottom right.
Very nice though, and again, i like the framing!
have a nice day!
Regards
Paul

Beautiful mixture of bright colours. The motorbike is in the right position.

Hi Linda,
Very nice composition
very nice soft colours

Hi Melinda. Lovely work with its vibrant colours and combination of inanimate objects.Quite dramatic the white frames and the deep red. Well seen. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Melinda,

By seeing this scene, I want right to travel by the scooter and to go to make a turn… More seriously, I like this place, even if it misses a person to make it more alive.
If not, it is very good :)
Regards
Philippe

hello Melinda,
this is a colourful and attractive composition. I like the way you have worked the two thirds rule by framing the red house at two thirds and the pink at one third.

Bev

Melinda bonjour.
Cette photo est superbe pour sa composition et pour ses couleurs.
Souvent on ne pense photographier que les monuments célèbres dans une ville aussi prestigieuse que Zadar alors qu'on ignore des scènes et des coins comme celui-ci.

Hi Linda
excellent colors and good composition...a typical photograph by books (would it have been nice if some humans put into the frame)...
