Relaxing

I was relaxing during the past two monts from the TE comunity. That doesn't mean I wasn't active elsewhere.
Behold the picture from near Stara Baska on the island of Krk (see the map). There was a strong wind "Bura" all day long, but me and my family and friends found this beautiful bay where there was no wind nor big waves and we just relaxed all day long, swimming and enjoying the beautiful september sun.

technical notes:
The picture is made from three vertical stiched photos, arranged with photostich and photoshop.For scale, look for the woman in the middle of the bay.

P.S: I know that there is only few pixels so it's hard to see it is a woman, but beleive me, there is a woman there!

Sem že mislil,da si odpisal TE.
Zelo lep pravljični zaliv.In to še kot,da je tvoj.Fantastika.Čudovita smaragdna barva vode.

Hi Aleksandar, v Stari Baski sem bil ampak se tega zaliva ne spomnim, sigurno je malo skrit in vidm zelo miren. Samo 2 nudista. glede plaže, ni raj na zemlji ampak je vsekakor lepo. glede na to da si slike zlepil je odlično. Niti droptinica se nakazuje nato. Nobene distorzije in skratka odlico.

Superbe cliché maritime. On se croirait dans une ile paradisiaque. Belle couleur de l'eau, celà a l'air d'être un coin tranquille loin de la surpopulation.

hello Aleks,
nice to see your pictures again! You're one of the masters of stitching in this community. Another very well assembled nice shot of this fantastic island. The perspective of the bay is fantastic and the details are well visible confirming what you said concerning the Bura. It is clearly visible that the sea is roughed just outside the bay. Great work and fantastic place you found there. Next year, instead of Nova Baska, I'd like to go here.

najprej sem pomislil na to, da si kupil nek širokokotni objektiv... pametni najprej preberejo, potem govorijo ;))) Krasna fotka in krasna zapuščena uvala... joj, kakšne barve morja... letos mi je minilo poletje "dok si reko keks"...

Zdravo Alek,
Bas ste nasli prelijepo mjesto za odmor. Ja volim takva usamljena mjesta na Jadranu, to je cijela divota ove regije, a jos kad to podjelis sa najdrazim ljudima :)))
Ova plaza izgleda kao polumjesec, bio sam na Krku par puta, al najljepsu plazu na sjeveru sam nasao na Cresu,
Lijepo si predstavio ovaj simpatican kutak, dobre boje i perspektiva.

Nice view realized with your home made fisheye ;-) stitching is good and the curve of this creek is lovely, is it your tent we get to see ? Funnily this shooting technique impacted the horizon but that does not bother me the curve is just too eye catching.

i have been here!!! :D Wonderful Baska, actually whole Island Krk is amazing, i spent there probably 3 of my summer holidays up there.

You really are the god of panos and atilla agrees :-) Thank you so much for the map, it really shows what a spendid area this is. It looks like one could sail for a lifetime in the area and never see it all. Jean-Yves commented on the curve of the coast line so I wanted to see how it looked straightened but the photo is much more attractive the way it is posted; the curve of the horizon matches the curve of the bay. Glad you've been off having a good time and that things are well with you and your family. Pat

Nice to see you on TE though I've also been away for these past few weeks! ;o)
Your title is well chosen and this seems to be an ideal place to relax. I like the way your POV shows the near-perfect circular shape of this small bay and the colours are excellent. And yes, I can no doubt see someone floatting in the center, though it's hard to tell whether it's a man or a woman!
