Beautiful shot Hendrik. That was almost a backlight shot, so you lost a bit of detail in the town behind, but this is a good photograph anyway.

Hi hendrik,

a very attractive photo. Thats one beautiful place, seems like a great place for a get away or even to live. A photo of the bridge in Mostar got me thinking about how a decade after that trafic war Croatia nd the rest of the Balkans, but especially croatia, have picked themselves up. Looking at this idyllic shot, who would have guessd there was a war here not so logn ago? really amazing. The photo does a great job of showing the place off, and the boat is a great foreground element.

Salut Hendrik,
Tres joli et typique ce village sur son promontoire avec l'eglise qui se detqche sur le dessus, ca ressemble beaucoup a Rovinj, l'inclusion du bateau est tres bonne pour donner de la profondeur et les couleurs sont agreabes, une jolie photo.

Dag hendrik,

De zon kan men onmogelijk doen opschuiven als men het wil, en van wachten is ook meestal geen sprake, maar ik houd van deze foto, ik ben reeds uit mijn kinder jarenverliefd op de zee, later heeft mijn vrouw mij ook de bossen weten te warderen.
Ik vind dit zeker een plezerig plaatje om naar te kijken, en eigelijk geniet ik even mee van uw vakantie, zonder mij te moeten verplaatsen!

Hi Hendrik,
A well composed shot of this interesting place. The boat is well placed in the scene and the shadow effects enhance. The beach itself is slightly overexposed. Excellent DOF, with a clear view of the town in the distance. The two people wading in the water enhance. Well seen and captured, Hendrik. It looks like an unspoiled coast.

Very good composition in what looks like very strong light if the darkness of the boat's shadow is anything to go by. The foreground boat placed to the left is just the right place. The inclusion of the people adds another element of interest.

I have in my mind the music suggested by your title, Chris Rea and his fantastic summer melody. I'm sure Veronika is enjoying herself now down on the beach. Great framing, with the shadow taking the corner and leading us towards the view of the little town.

This is a beatifully composed shot. I like the subject and composition a lot. (Though I like many of your landscapes). There's not much to suggest in terms of composition. But I would suggest a polarizing filter for your camera -- the sky will be much more attractive.
